World Sport for All Grants Provisional Recognition to the Czech Association Sport for All

World Sport for All, formerly the International Sport for All Federation (FISpT), is pleased to announce that the Czech Association Sport for All (Česká asociace Sport pro všechny – ČASPV) has been granted provisional recognition as a national member of the Federation.

The decision reflects the Czech Association’s established role within the Czech sporting movement and its long-standing commitment to promoting physical activity, recreational sport, health-enhancing movement and inclusive participation for people of all ages and abilities.
The provisional recognition will be submitted for formal confirmation by the World Sport for All General Assembly at the forthcoming Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) in Antalya, Türkiye. Upon approval by the General Assembly, the Czech Association Sport for All will become a full national member of World Sport for All.

Marco Tomasini, Chief Executive Officer of World Sport for All, said: “We are delighted to welcome the Czech Association Sport for All into the World Sport for All family on a provisional basis. ČASPV brings valuable experience in grassroots sport, community-based physical activity and inclusive programmes. Its recognition represents an important step in strengthening our presence in Central Europe and advancing our shared mission to make sport and physical activity accessible to everyone.”

The Czech Association Sport for All is a national non-profit organisation dedicated to the development of recreational physical education and sport. Through its network of regional structures, clubs and local partners, it delivers programmes ranging from gymnastics, dance and yoga to activities for children, families, older adults and people with specific health needs.

This recognition reinforces World Sport for All’s commitment to building a global network of credible, active and community-oriented national organisations. It also supports the Federation’s strategic priority of expanding meaningful participation in Sport for All, promoting healthy lifestyles and strengthening international cooperation among national members.

World Sport for All looks forward to working closely with the Czech Association Sport for All in the period leading to the Antalya EGM and to welcoming its formal admission at the General Assembly.
