International Olympic Committee
In June 1995, during the 104th IOC Session held in Budapest (June 15–18), FISpT was granted full and definitive recognition by the IOC. This was officially confirmed by a letter dated June 15, 1995, signed by IOC President Juan Antonio Samaranch.
Sport for Refugees Coalition
Established around the first Global Refugee Forum in 2019 and co-convened by UNHCR - the UN Refugee Agency, the Olympic Refuge Foundation (ORF) and the Scort Foundation, the Sport for Refugees Coalition brings together more than 130 entities from the world of sport, civil society, public and private sectors to extend access to sport to refugees and other displaced people around the world.



HEPA Europe
HEPA Europe (the European Network for the promotion of Health-Enhancing Physical Activity) is a World Health Organization (WHO) network dedicated to improving health and well-being across the WHO European Region by promoting regular physical activity. The network unites researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to combat sedentary lifestyles and noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) through comprehensive, multisectoral strategies.
Sports for Nature
Sports for Nature is a joint initiative of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), International Olympic Committee (IOC), United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) and Dona Bertarelli Philanthropy.
It aims to deliver transformative action for nature across sports, by 2030 and beyond, enabling sports to champion nature and contribute to its protection and restoration. It provides a game plan for sports — at all levels — to accelerate and inspire others to take action for nature.

United Nations Sports for Climate Action Framework
United Nations Sports for Climate Action Framework is an initiative led by UN Climate Change (UNFCCC) to mobilise the global sports community in the response to the climate crisis.


EU4Ocean Coalition
The EU4Ocean Coalition is an initiative supported by the European Commission that connects organizations, projects, and individuals to promote ocean literacy and sustainable ocean management across Europe. It empowers citizens to make sustainable choices and supports a thriving European blue economy
World Fair Play Day
World Fair Play Day is an international celebration dedicated to promoting ethical conduct, respect, and inclusivity in sports and society. It champions principles like friendship, tolerance, and non-discrimination, proving that the spirit of honest competition and mutual respect is far more important than winning at all costs.


FIEPS
FIEPS – Fédération Internationale d’Éducation Physique et Sportive – is one of the world’s oldest international organizations dedicated to physical education and sport, with a long tradition of promoting quality physical education systems and active lifestyles across continents. Today, FIEPS operates as an international body for physical education with representation and activities in a large number of countries, organizing world and continental congresses, scientific events, and expert networks focused on PE, sport pedagogy, and health. FIEPS is an IOC recognised organization.
FICS
The Fédération Internationale de Chiropratique du Sport (FICS) is the International Federation of Sports Chiropractic. Its mission is to provide equitable access to sports chiropractic care, education, mentoring, and research to athletes and sports chiropractors worldwide.


IPACS
The International Partnership against Corruption in Sport (IPACS) is a multi-stakeholder initiative bringing together sports organisations, governments and intergovernmental organisations to combine efforts for the fight against corruption in sport. This unique partnership provides a platform for dialogue with the aim to propose pragmatic solutions to the issue, while harnessing the expertise and experience of all actors.
RISE
FISpT has reached the Bronze level in the RISE Quality Label, and that provides a strong foundation for a formal English press release announcing the federation’s recognized commitment to positive social impact through sport. The RISE platform states that its Quality Label is designed to help organisations gain recognition for the good they do through sport, while also supporting stronger visibility for programmes, recruitment of coaches and volunteers, and engagement with funders and donors.


ACOLOP
The Association of Portuguese Official Language Olympic Committees, known as ACOLOP, is a non-profit organization related to the Olympic Movement, officially established in Lisbon on 8 June 2004. It brings together 12 Portuguese-speaking countries and communities, united by a shared commitment to sport, cooperation, and cultural understanding. Its members include the National Olympic Committees of Angola, Brazil, Cabo Verde, Equatorial Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Macau, Mozambique, Portugal, São Tomé and Príncipe, Timor-Leste, as well as the associate members India and Sri Lanka. Together, these members represent a diverse and dynamic community across several continents, linked by the Portuguese language and a common vision for sport.
#BEACTIVE
FISpT is an official partner of the European Week of Sport, the European Commission’s flagship initiative promoting sport, physical activity, and healthy lifestyles across Europe and beyond and of the #BEACTIVE campaign. The European Week of Sport is an annual initiative of the European Commission, inviting people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities to take part in physical activity and sport. The #BeActive campaign is the communication and engagement platform of the European Week of Sport.
