The International Sport for All Federation (FISpT) is pleased to announce the admission of the Fédération Internationale de Chiropratique du Sport (FICS) as a new Committee Member of our Federation.

The Fédération Internationale de Chiropratique du Sport (FICS) is the International Federation of Sports Chiropractic. Its mission is to provide equitable access to sports chiropractic care, education, mentoring, and research to athletes and sports chiropractors worldwide.

Founded in 1987, FICS is the international federation for sports chiropractic and has developed over the years into a respected global organization dedicated to advancing sports chiropractic care, education, mentoring, and research for athletes and professionals around the world. In 1998, FICS established its headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland, at the heart of the Olympic Movement, strengthening its international profile and proximity to the world of sport. Today, FICS continues to operate as a worldwide federation supporting equitable access to sports chiropractic services and professional development across numerous countries.

The admission of FICS as a Committee Member represents an important step for FISpT and for the broader Sport for All movement. FICS brings recognized expertise in athlete wellbeing, injury prevention, recovery support, education, and research, all of which contribute directly to the promotion of healthy and inclusive participation in sport. Their presence will strengthen our collective ability to support physical activity not only as a performance pathway, but also as a tool for health, social inclusion, and lifelong participation.

For FISpT, this membership is valuable because it enhances our multidisciplinary approach and reinforces the connection between Sport for All and athlete care. It also opens the door to new collaborations, educational initiatives, and international exchanges that can benefit our member organizations and the communities they serve. By welcoming FICS, FISpT reaffirms its commitment to working with specialized international partners that share our vision of accessible, inclusive, and sustainable sport for everyone.

“On behalf of the International Sport for All Federation, I am honored to welcome the Fédération Internationale de Chiropratique du Sport as a new Committee Member of FISpT. This membership reflects a shared commitment to sport, health, inclusion, and the wellbeing of all athletes. We are confident that FICS will contribute valuable knowledge and experience to our Federation, and we look forward to a strong and productive collaboration within the FISpT family.”, stated Marco Tomasini, CEO of FISpT.

“We are excited to support the FISpT and the common goal to increase physical literacy through the encouragement and organization of activity and sport.  We maintain relationships with Olympic and International Sporting Federations, Educational Institutions and 30+ National Chiropractic Sports Councils (NCSC) and Regional Chiropractic Sports Councils (RCSCs) across the globe. This relationship deepens our support for all levels of sport locally and internationally.”, stated Dr. Brian Nook, Secretary General of FICS.
