FISpT and UESpT Launch Free EWOS Seminar Series under the #BeActive Campaign

World Sport for All (FISpT), in cooperation with the Union Européenne du Sport pour Tous (UESpT), is pleased to announce the launch of the EWOS Seminar Series, a programme of free online meetings organised within the framework of the European Week of Sport and the European Commission’s #BeActive campaign.
The series will bring together representatives of international sport federations and organisations to highlight the contribution of sport to more inclusive, healthier and more active societies. Through a series of expert presentations, participants will showcase initiatives, programmes and good practices designed to make sport accessible to all people, regardless of age, gender, ability, background or level of experience.

All EWOS seminars are free of charge and open to everyone. People interested in Sport for All, physical activity, inclusion, health, sports development and international federation initiatives are invited to take part.
The seminars will be held online on 28 September, 9 October, 13 October and 21 October 2026, from 15:00 to 17:00 Italian time.
Those wishing to attend the live online sessions can register through the following form: Register for the EWOS Seminar Series
The link to follow the live sessions will be sent directly to all registered participants.
Participation is also possible after the live events. Each seminar will be recorded and subsequently published through FISpT’s information and communication channels, allowing audiences to watch the sessions at a time that is convenient for them.
Each participating federation will have a dedicated 20-minute presentation slot to introduce its sport and explain how its activities contribute to participation, social inclusion, physical and mental wellbeing, community development and active lifestyles.

The opening session and seminars will feature representatives of a wide range of international federations, including organisations governing pentathlon, savate, fistball, underwater activities, sleddog sports, mind sports, armwrestling, billiards, table tennis, ju-jitsu, teqball, bandy, flying disc and draughts.
The programme reflects the diversity of the international sports movement and demonstrates that every sport can play an important role in encouraging people to become more active and engaged in their communities.

Through the EWOS Seminar Series, FISpT and UESpT seek to contribute to this European objective by giving international sports organisations a platform to share their experiences and inspire further action.
The sessions will be moderated by Marco Tomasini, CEO of FISpT and World Sport for All, and Irfan Kurudirek, President of UESpT.
“We are proud to bring together such a distinguished panel of international sports leaders,” said Marco Tomasini, CEO of FISpT. “Every federation has a role to play in making sport more accessible, inclusive and relevant to society. Through this series, we want to demonstrate the extraordinary contribution that different sports can make to the #BeActive campaign and to the European Week of Sport.”
The EWOS Seminar Series forms part of the ongoing commitment of FISpT and UESpT to strengthen international cooperation, promote participation in sport and support the development of active and healthy communities worldwide.
