International Sport for All Federation (FISpT) Opens Applications for Ten Standing Commissions

The International Sport for All Federation (FISpT), the IOC Recognised global federation dedicated to promoting "Sport for All" as a fundamental right for every individual, today announced the opening of applications for membership in its ten standing commissions.


The commissions play a central role in advancing FISpT's mission to foster health, well-being, social inclusion, education, cultural exchange, sustainable development, and mutual understanding through accessible sport and physical activity worldwide.



Qualified candidates from FISpT member organizations and the global Sport for All community are invited to apply for the following commissions:

  • Safeguarding

  • Gender, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

  • Development Commission

  • Education and Research Commission

  • Ethics

  • Medical and Anti-Doping Commission

  • Communications and Marketing Commission

  • Sustainability

  • Traditional Games and Sports Commission

  • Parasport Commission


"These commissions are the engine of our work," said Marco Tomasini, CEO of FISpT. "They bring together expertise from across our global network to shape policy, share best practice, and drive initiatives that make sport truly accessible to all."

The application window will close on 15 September 2026. Selected candidates will be notified following the review process and announced through official FISpT channels.


The Fédération Internationale du Sport pour Tous (FISpT) was founded on 3 April 1982 in Strasbourg at the Council of Europe and was granted full recognition by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in June 1995. Headquartered in Rome, Italy since January 2026, FISpT is an international non-governmental, non-profit organization that promotes Sport for All and physical activity as a fundamental right for every person, without distinction of age, gender, physical condition, social status, ethnicity, religion, or any other personal condition.


FISpT works in cooperation with its member organizations, international federations, and partners to develop Sport for All programs, advocate for inclusive policies, and support capacity-building initiatives worldwide.
