The International Sport for All Federation (FISpT) is proud to announce that it has been accepted as an official partner of the European Week of Sport, the European Commission’s flagship initiative promoting sport, physical activity, and healthy lifestyles across Europe and beyond. The European Week of Sport partners are organizations that help spread the message of active, healthy living.

This partnership represents an important recognition of FISpT’s long-standing commitment to making sport accessible, inclusive, and meaningful for all people, regardless of age, background, ability, or location. Through this collaboration, FISpT will support the European Week of Sport’s mission to inspire more people to move more, live healthier lives, and strengthen community participation through sport.

FISpT welcomes this opportunity to contribute to a Europe-wide movement that connects sporting organizations, public authorities, schools, communities, and citizens around a shared vision of active living and social inclusion. The Federation will actively promote the values of participation, well-being, and sport for all within the framework of the European Week of Sport and the #BeActive campaign.

“We are honoured to join the European Week of Sport as an official partner,” said Marco Tomasini, FISpT CEO. “This partnership strengthens our mission to promote sport for all and to encourage active lifestyles across generations and communities.”

The European Week of Sport is an annual initiative of the European Commission, held from 23 to 30 September, inviting people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities to take part in physical activity and sport. Since its launch in 2015, the campaign has expanded across 42 countries and regions, inspiring millions of participants and hundreds of thousands of activities.

The initiative encourages participation in all kinds of settings — schools, workplaces, clubs, parks, and public spaces — and aims to make movement part of everyday life. Its core message is simple: everyone can be active in their own way.

The #BeActive campaign is the communication and engagement platform of the European Week of Sport. It promotes an active lifestyle and highlights the physical, mental, and social benefits of sport and exercise.

#BeActive is designed to inspire people to start moving in ways that suit them — walking, running, wheeling, dancing, playing, or simply taking small steps toward a healthier routine. It is a Europe-wide call to action to be active then, now, and always.
