With the European Week of Sport (EWoS) 2027 approaching, World Sport for All and the Union of European Sport for All (UESpT) are pleased to present the official promotional video for the event, which will take place across Europe from 23 to 30 September 2027.ù

As official partners of the European Commission’s #BeActive campaign and of the European Week of Sport itself, both organisations reaffirm their commitment to promoting physical activity, inclusion, and grassroots sport throughout the continent.

The European Week of Sport is the European Union’s flagship initiative to encourage citizens to adopt more active and healthier lifestyles. Built around the campaign message “#BeActive your way”, the Week mobilises public authorities, sport organisations, schools, workplaces, and communities to organise events and activities that make movement accessible to people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities.

World Sport for All and UESpT are partners with the #BeActive campaign underscores a shared belief that sport and physical activity are powerful tools for health, social inclusion, education, and community building.

Marco Tomasini, representing World Sport for All and UESpT, stated:

“We are proud to stand alongside the European Commission and the many organisations that make the European Week of Sport possible. This promotional video is more than an invitation to move – it is a celebration of the diversity, inclusivity, and joy that sport brings to communities across Europe. Through our partnership with the #BeActive campaign, World Sport for All and UESpT remain committed to ensuring that everyone, regardless of age, background, or ability, has the opportunity to experience the benefits of an active lifestyle.”

The newly released promotional video captures the spirit of the European Week of Sport 2027 by showcasing:

  • Diverse participants – children, young people, adults, and seniors engaging in sport and physical activity across different European contexts.

  • Inclusive disciplines – traditional games, urban sports, recreational activities, and grassroots initiatives that reflect the “sport for all” philosophy.

  • A unifying message – the idea that everyone can find their own way to be active, in line with the #BeActive your way slogan.

Organisations, clubs, schools, and local authorities are encouraged to register their #BeActive events for the 2027 Week via the official European Week of Sport website and to use the promotional video and campaign toolkit to inspire participation in their communities.
